Mother's Day

I know its a little late but here is the Mother's day entry. Marie got a massage at a spa near the beach, which she was really happy about. Since we are moving soon the last thing I wanted was to buy more "stuff" to have to move, and I figured some relaxation was what she could use the most. It turns out it was a good choice. Then we went to some high end outlets and looked at all the stuff we can't afford. Sunday I made lunch and a desert for her after church and we had some of the dancers from Yale over for food and games. She had a good weekend which she deserves since she has been a great mom to our little girl.

Unfortunately, I have no pictures of Marie from that weekend. I do have some of our girl's other "mom." I remember, before she was born, telling people at work that I was going to let Sophia raise her. Hey, it worked for Remus and Romulus, and they founded one of the world's greatest cities. The fact that one killed the other I think was just bad luck. Besides, Sophia is (slightly) more domestic than a wolf.

Can't you see the love? If you look closely Sophia even does a diaper check before moving on.

We generally try to put a stop to this.
